Meet them. Greet them.
Learn who they are. Uncover what they really want.
Find out how you can help them.
Are you focussed on trying to show people what a great product you have developed OR are you focussed on “them”?
“They” hold the key to your success. You’ve heard it before “They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care“. Still holds true even in the supposedly high-tech, low-touch anonymity of the on-line market. In fact, that low-touch anonymity is exactly what you need to break through. The best keyword research in the world won’t make up for the fact that the searchers on the other side of the screen don’t know you, trust you, believe you.
That is what Product Launch Marketing is here to do. Show you how to show those searchers who you are , that you can be trusted, that you can be believed. Then, and only then, will they buy your product.
If you want them to buy from you, you need to get inside their world. Product Launch Marketing strategies develop a “conversation” with your market that helps you pinpoint exactly how to position the sale. In fact, this is the essence of Product Launch Marketing: you create a sales process and offer that’s perfectly tuned to your market.
Product Launch Marketing is a complete marketing system that lets you sell almost anything. PLM is based on Jeff Walker’s proven, business boosting Product Launch Formula program. Listen to Jeff explain the key strategies such as List Building, Relationship Building, Responding to the Market and Positioning in this short introductory Product Launch video.
Product Launch Marketing has been proven in hundreds of markets – the system has worked in markets as varied as an herbal remedy store and a motivational speaker’s seminars. PLM uses methods to uncover people’s fears, frustrations, dreams and aspirations. As an engineer, I appreciate proven methodologies. So will you as you deposit checks into your bank account.
PLM is completely permission-based marketing. This is key in our over-hyped and over-stimulated world. “Hope” marketing – that is “hoping” someone sees your billboard and reads your email simply isn’t going to cut it.
An example of breaking through the marketing clutter
Recently I became a customer of Stream Energy. Stream Energy is a natural gas supplier. In my town I drive by two HUGE competitors billboards every day. I had never “seen” either of these billboards UNTIL I became a Stream customer. Suddenly I had awareness of natural gas companies. This is how it is for many “hope” marketers. As they have no connection with their prospects, their prospects aren’t seeing their material. I had a personal connection with Stream. Stream broke through the clutter with personal marketing (in the form of my sister-in-law knocking on my door).
That is what you need to do if you want to survive in the brave, new world of marketing. Break through the clutter and develop a personal relationship with your prospect.
Your Launch Process – a Game Plan
What is your game plan for your product launch? Just like an army general or NFL offensive coordinator – you need to have a game plan for your launch process. How will you get the attention and interest of your market?
Did you see the video above about your Launch Blueprint?
During the launch process you develop a “conversation” with your market that helps you pinpoint exactly how to position the sale. Having a conversation means you pre-sell people by answering their objections before the launch goes live. On our first date my husband asked me what kind of food I liked. He was figuring out how to position the sale. I replied “Asian”. I had just returned to the US from 12 years of living in Asia, so that was my favourite. He made reservations at a sushi place. I don’t like sushi. See to me, Japan isn’t part of Asia. To those of us living in South Asia, Japan is another world. Had he carried on that conversation “what kind of sushi is your favourite?” he would have discovered my bias. You need to figure that out in your market.
If you do this right, you end up with a sales process and offer that’s perfectly tuned to your market. If all goes well, you can see a years worth of revenue in a week.
You also get huge momentum build in your industry, you position yourself as an expert in your field, you exponentially grow your list and quite possibly attract the attention of key Joint Venture partners.
The cost is low and the risk is low, the work is mainly sweat equity.
The first step is to put a name to the face: meet your target market.
On this site you will find help to put together your product launch blueprint. If you are not the “teach a man to fish” type but rather the “bring me a fish sandwhich and a cold beer” type, then feel free to contact us and we will see about putting the blueprint together for you.
